Referring Customers

  1. energyclubnz Referral Programme is a friends and family referral process program only.

  2. The Referral Programme is only available to residential customers who refer residential customers.

  3. The Referral Programme will reward referring customers with a $50 account credit for each person that they refer to energyclubnz that becomes an energyclubnz billable customer (Referral Reward).

  4. The Referral Reward is approved only after the referred customer’s account has completed switching to energyclubnz and successfully commenced billing.

  5. It takes approximately 5-10 business days for a referred customer to become an active energyclubnz customer.

  6. In order for the referrer to receive the Referral Reward the person referred must use the unique share link when signing up to become a energyclubnz customer.

  7. For the Referral Reward to be added to the energyclubnz account as account credits, the account payment method must be set as direct debit from bank account or direct debit from bank or credit card and the referring customer's energyclubnz account balance must not be in arrears.

  8. If a referring customer makes referrals while they are in the process of switching to energyclubnz and then are unsuccessful in becoming a customer, they will be unable to receive any Referral Rewards earned.

  9. Referring customers must be an active customer of energyclubnz in order to receive the Referral Reward.

  10. The Referral Reward, or part thereof, cannot be exchanged for cash and can only be paid by a credit on the referring customer's energyclubnz bill.

  11. energyclubnz is unable to grant Referral Reward account credits for customers who opt out of the Referral Programme.

 

Referred Customers

  1. Residential customers who switch to energyclubnz through a Referral Programme share link will be entitled to a $50 account credit (Welcome Bonus).

  2. The Welcome Bonus is rewarded as a $50 account credit after the referred customer’s account has completed switching to energyclubnz and has successfully commenced billing.

  3. For the Welcome Bonus to be added to the energyclubnz account as account credits, the account payment method must be set as direct debit from bank account or direct debit from bank or credit card and the referred customer's energyclubnz account balance must not be in arrears.

  4. The Welcome Bonus account credit or part thereof, cannot be exchanged for cash and can only be paid by a credit on the referred customer's energyclubnz bill.

  5. If a referred customer ceases to be an energyclubnz customer before they have used all Welcome Bonus account credits the balance of any unused portion of Welcome Bonus will forfeited.

  6. energyclubnz is unable to grant Welcome Bonus account credits for customers who opt out of the Referral Programme.

  7. Welcome Bonus credits cannot be credited on accounts where the referring customer and referred customer share the same address.

  8. Promo Codes for other energyclubnz offers cannot be used in conjunction with Referral Programme Welcome Bonuses.

  9. In the event of a Promo Code being used as well as being referred by a unique share link, the Welcome Bonus will take precedence.
